At JRS, there’s only one yellow brick road— and it leads to success. I’ve curated a two-part branding experience that works from the inside out: we organize the back-end before curating a cohesive aesthetic for your customers.
The Lowdown
Part one: Strategy
Part two: Design
Never leave home without both! During strategy, we build a strong foundation and translate all that marketing jargon into a crystal-clear design plan. From there, every element we create is not only beautiful, but purposeful in attracting your ideal customer.
START TO FINISH
Strategy begins with you word-vomiting everything about your business into a questionnaire. I’ll review and schedule a call to go over questions and ideas. Then I organize everything to a strategy document. You can think of this as your marketing + design plan that covers you, your audience, archetypes, the problem you solve, and competitor analysis. Most importantly, the document ends with an Action section: What steps can we take to attract this person? What colors will they enjoy? What fonts will help you stand out from your competitors? All that marketing jargon is just that— jargon— until we translate it into purposeful design.

/ Inquiry & onboarding
Every JRS client starts the right way— with branding! Begin the process by inquiring here. I’ll schedule a call for us to chat about your business and answer any questions. After the call, I send over a proposal that walks you through your project details, invoice, and contract. Once the deposit has been made, your spot is secured and I’ll onboard you into my project management software, Asana. Your entire project will be organized and outlined in Asana, step-by-step.

/ Strategy
/ Stylescapes
The fun begins, baby! Using your strategy document as my guide, I’ll create two stylescapes for you to choose from. A stylescape is essentially a creative direction: a big mood board, font, and color palette.

/ Design
From your chosen stylescape, I develop out one fan-tab-ulous branding concept. This includes your: logo, secondary logo(s), mark(s), color palette, font pairings, patterns, illustrations/icons, shapes, and photography direction. This is all delivered via a presentation and accompanying voiceover. If needed, you have two rounds of refinement to make it perfect.
/ Delivery & Disco Party
Disco party not mandatory, but strongly recommended. Complementary playlist available here. ;) At this point, I’m boogie-ing to Chaka Khan and wrapping up all your brand elements into a catalogued file package. I create a custom brand guide that teaches you how to use everything in that package. You’re feeling confident, organized, and like a world of opportunities has just opened up for you.

Branding is the entry point to the rest of my design services! I don't do one-off projects, because either a) someone else designed your branding, meaning I'll have to work with their designs, or b) you don't have branding at all, making it difficult for me to create your materials. If you start by branding with me, you'll get the golden key to unlock all the design services you can dream of.

In short: I’m not your girl. A logo is an essential part of the brand, but on its own doesn’t create enough cohesion to generate trust from customers.

No decision fatigue here— I offer only one: The Branding Experience. By weeding out smaller, inadequate packages and larger, unnecessary packages, you’ll get all the branding essentials and can add other materials as needed.

Yes! The Regular payment plan splits your investment into three parts: deposit, at approval of creative direction, and at hand-over of final files. The Extended plan splits it into four payments, one a month.
